Hiiii from emnkenz. We just decided to start a blog to remember our highlights from the summer. We are currently sitting on Kenzi's bed, eating Taco Bell. We should be sleeping, but this is how friendships happen, right?! Kenzi is pretty proud of her new coffee maker. She splurged for the self timer. What a teammie.

Recap on the past week: We arrived in Joplin. Kenzi was late because she doesn't read directions. Bad start to the summer. Emily is doing the station (bookstore) for MOVE, selling merchandise. Kenzi is auditorium manager; she doesn't know what that means just yet. Orientation and team building. Then we were separated: Emily to fold shirts and pack the truck, Kenzi to learn how to set up the stage and gather materials and equipment. It must also be noted that we have the best teammates ever!!!! Brandon and Phoenix rock.

We have enjoyed our long weekend and Monday off. Today there was a cookout with the Know Sweat interns that arrived. The interns were put to shame by the staff in heated wiffle ball competition. We are looking forward to spending the week with Know Sweat, and Emily was very happy to see Amber and Sarah from last year. :)

This weekend was sad because Kenzi was gone at a wedding. :( Team somethin somethin (official team name) missed her a great deal.

Short four day week ahead of us, and we are ready to work!
